About the Review

On July 11, Premier Christy Clark appointed Skip Triplett to lead the Community Gaming Grant Review to create a sustainable funding system for non-profits and charitable organizations. His final report was submitted to the Province on Oct. 31, 2011.

As part of the review, Triplett engaged and solicited viewpoints from communities and stakeholders to determine the best way to manage the criteria, application and evaluation process, looking at such issues as timelines, funding levels and eligibility.

The review will help the province create a granting process that is equitable, sustainable, transparent and helps create financial certainty for community groups. The review is funded by the Province of British Columbia.
