Written Submissions

Please be aware that the information you provide is being collected by the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development pursuant to s.26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The information will be used to administer all aspects of the Community Gaming Grant Review. This process includes using your name and city for establishing speaking lists for community forums and includes publishing on the internet all written submissions and transcripts of oral presentations, along with your full name and the date.

We invite you to provide a written submission. In addition to your comments and feedback, we encourage you to submit your thoughts on:

  • Ways to improve existing legislation on gaming grants;
  • The funding formula used to allocate gaming grant funds;
  • The process and eligibility criteria to qualify for gaming grants;
  • The number of years over which individual gaming grants should be awarded; and
  • What the role of government in the delivery of gaming grants should be.
